Replacement Hard Drive for Dell Dimension 2400 by elise on September 7, 2007
Q: I have a Dell Dimension 2400 and need to purchase a new hard drive. How do I know what kind to get?
A: According to the Dell Dimension 2400 Specifications, this desktop takes 3.5″ IDE/ATA hard drives. Depending on how many drives are already in your system, you may need to place your additional hard drive in a 5.25″ drive bay which will require an adapter kit. If you visit the Dell Support site for the Dimension 2400, you will be able to find instructions for opening your PC case and replacing various parts.

2. What are the different ways to get to the system properties dialog box besides using control panel?
3. What type of software is Belarc Advisor?
