Where Can I Find My ISP Logon and Mail Server Information?

by on September 22, 2007

Q: How do I find out my mail server information, SMTP server information, username, and password? I am making an attempt to follow the prompts to get my outlook running.

A: Your ISP should have provided you with your username, password, mail server, and SMTP information when they came and installed your services. If they did not then you will need to call your ISP’s support number and get that information from them. Some ISPs also have web sites where users can get technical support and you may be able to get your mail server and SMTP server information from there as well.

Always a great source for computer/tech information. It may take a week or so before you get a response back (I am sure they have an obscene amount of inquiries to sort through). You will never be disappointed with the results.

    Hooks,

Sorry it took as long as it did to get back to you but you are correct we do have many questions and we try to answer 2 a day so it does sometimes take a little bit.
