I’ll need more information before I can answer your question.
* What is the model number of your computer?
* Provide as many details as possible about the RAM — model number, speed, etc.
Thanks!

Hi mdmsweetm,
If you’re still interested in installing the Samsung RAM, make sure that it is either DDR PC2100 (non-ECC) or DDR PC2700 (non-ECC). For more information, see http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00062767/c00062767.pdf
PS: Windows Vista will not run very well with the kind of RAM that your current computer requires.
I hope this information helps.
