Which operating system are you using? Popular operating systems include: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X. Also, are you willing to pay for these programs, or do you want only free software? Thanks!

Thaks for your reply, I have Windows XP on this computer and I’d be willing to pay for a program if I knew it was going to work. I might use free software to see if I was going to like it or not. Again, Thanks.

Hi Roger,
Let me know which of these you prefer. I’ve used most of the programs listed below. I’ve never used Any DVD Converter, but I have successfully used free programs from the company which makes it. I think that iskysoft is for Mac OS X computers.
Free #1 – http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Free #2 – http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/DVD-Shrink.shtml and then use http://handbrake.fr/
Costs Money #1 – http://www.any-dvd-converter.com/ (pro version or iPod version)
Costs Money #2 – http://www.fairusewizard.com/lang_en/fairuse_wizard_dvd_divx_xvid_backup_tool_buynow.html
I hope this helps!

Thanks to everyone and all the suggestions. I’ve tried the clone2go program and it’s been rather succesful so far. But will keep all other suggestions on hand to see which one works the best.
