Will enabling a Bios password slow down my computer?
by vjohnson1 on February 8, 2009Q: My PC Guru told me that if I enable Bios password protection it would slow my operating system down but I can’t find anything on the internet/Google that confirms this. Does anyone know this for a fact?
The only way enabling a BIOS password will slow your PC down is the time you spend typing in the password. Enabling a BIOS password isn’t permanent anyway. You can always turn it back off again if you want.
