Excellent question! With Intel processors, faster front side bus, larger cache, more cores, and "faster" processor are all important. Geeks often disagree on which of these features are most important, but I think that cores and FSB are very important. Therefore, I would put the processors from your list in the following order (first being best).

Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q9300 2.5GHz, 1333FSB, 6Mb Cache

Intel Core 2 Duo processor E8400 3.0GHz, 1333FSB, 6Mb Cache

Intel Core 2 Extreme X9100 3.06GHz (6MB Cache 1066MHz FSB)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 2.00GHz (6MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB)

Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8GHz (6MB Cache 1066MHz FSB)

PS: Some geeks feel that "faster" RAM is also important. Also, some geeks feel prefer either DDR2 RAM or DDR3 RAM. There are advantages and disadvantages to both.

Let me know how I may be of further assistance.
