Can I upgrade the processor in my Toshiba Equium L100?

Q: I have a Toshiba Equium L100 and I was just wondering if it was possible to replace the processor inside with one from my Dell D600.

Sorry, laptop components aren’t designed to be swapped like on desktop PCs. You can probably upgrade the RAM and/or your laptop’s harddrive, as they are usually made to be accessible via the bottom of the laptop without having to take it apart. However you’re not going to be able to replace the CPU or Video Card.

    update on my question:

After a long search on google i found a guide to dissasembling my Toshiba and replaced the processor, initial tests show that the processor is fully working…

*** NOTE *** dont do this, unless your completely satisfied with your skills or your not bothered about wreaking your stuff…
