Is it possible to tighten the screen on my laptop without breaking the LCD?
by Guest Geek on April 2, 2009Q: I own an IBM Thinkpad R60. It is about 3 years old and has had a lot of use. The laptop screen has recently gotten very loose. In any position it wiggles about an inch back and forth. Is there anyway to tighten the screen without causing damage to the LCD?

Here are some directions for how to totally replace the LCD screen on that laptop. I’m guessing this should guide you to gaining access to those screws you want to tighten.
