What does it mean when the color on my CRT goes from normal to pale?

Q: My CRT monitor changes its color from the good colors to a pale color. I cannot determine if the source of the problem is my VGA card, or my VGA connector/connection, or of my CRT monitor which is a bit old.

    It sounds like your old CRT is probably starting to give out. If you want to make 100% sure you’ll need to hook your PC up to a different monitor.
