Is it safe to shut my MacBook Pro off after dropping it off the bed?
by Guest Geek on April 8, 2009Q: I knocked my laptop off my bed by accident and it fell on a hard wood floor form about 2 to 3 feet off the ground. It’s a MacBook Pro. It seems to be working fine, but I haven’t shut it off yet. Do you think it’s safe for me to shut it off? Will it work when I try to start it up again? There doesn’t seem to be any damage on the outside. The case is fine, the screen is fine and it’s not making any noises that are out of the ordinary. I just wanna make sure.
If there was a problem caused by the fall, it probably would have happened already.
