How come my pictures sometimes get deleted for no reason off my memory card?
by Guest Geek on April 15, 2009Q: I take pictures on my Olympus xD picture card and then I put it in my HP laptop. Sometimes it is fine, others it turns my pictures grey or just deletes them all together. I do not know what it wrong, or even which is making it do that. This is my second picture card, I got a new one because it did it to the 1st one also.

How are you reading the picture card? Are you removing the xD card and inserting it into a separate reader, or are you plugging your camera into the laptop?
