How come my USB port stopped working on my Toshiba laptop after installing driver updates?
by Guest Geek on April 19, 2009Q: I have a Toshiba P35 S605 laptop and was installing driver updates when all my USB ports stopped working. Cannot use USB mouse, flash drive, anything USB.
I unchecked power settings on root hub on devices, checked BIOS boot and all is set to par. Any ideas on what to do next?

What drivers did you update?
Try rolling back your USB drivers.
Device Manger> click the + next to the Universal Serial Bus > right click and select Properties
on the ‘Driver’ tab there is a button for Roll Back Driver
