Do I need to install the 64-bit version of Windows XP if my processor is 64-bit?
by Guest Geek on May 15, 2009Q: My laptop has a Turion64 CPU. I REALLY BADLY need to do a fresh XP install. Do I need to be tracking down the 64-bit version Windows XP or can I use the standard install disc I’ve already got? My laptop is driving me crazy!

The standard 32bit disk you have will work just fine
