How do I connect my Gateway computer with HDMI to my TV?

Q: I have a gateway M_7315U PD with HDMI and I would like to connect to my TV. Can you tell me how?

If your TV has an HDMI port, just plug your computer into the TV with an HDMI cable as if you were going to hook up a DVD player.

Turn the computer and TV on and everything should just autodetect.
