A video file with an avi extension can be encoded in a number of ways.  You can use a program like GSpot ( http://www.headbands.com/gspot/v26x/index.htm ) to see what format a specific video file is using.  

I suggest using this program to take a look at some of the video files that work, and some of them that don&#039;t.  You&#039;ll probably be able to to quickly notice a difference.
