How come I cannot login to ebay?

Q: When I attempt to login on Ebay I type the Userid and password, press sign in button, it spins like it’s going to login, but returns to the login page! Do I have something blocked or do I need to add something (add-on)??? HELP!!!

    Add on to ebay Q. Now after hitting the sign in button the navigation line says: “about:protectedmodeoff” and the screen is blank, then it goes to a sign in screen that doesn’t work. If I try to contact ebay the screen goes to “Internet Explorer cannot display this page”! ! ! I have used AVG and Spybot today. No threats on those. Any ideas???

    Ebay Login Problem: After 9 hrs of working on this darn computer I finally found a fix!!! I set the security level to high and then needed to turn on java script. It finally works!!!
