Where can I get a sound card driver for my computer?
by jonman on November 10, 2009Q: I lost the drivers for my sound card and now my computer doesn’t detect my sound card. I had the driver installed before but now I’ve formatted my computer and I need the audio driver for. It has an i865 chipset and Windows media center. Mine is a hcl beanstalk computer with a Pentium 4 HT processor.

Driver downloads should be available from the website of either the manufacturer of the computer, or the sound card component . Try the PC builder’s website: http://www.hclstore.in/consumer-pc.html or go to the website of the company that manufactured the sound card.
If this sound card was part of the PC as you purchased it, then HCL should have the driver. If you’re unable to locate it on their website I suggest you contact them directly.
