Can I install Microsoft Word and Microsoft Works on the same computer?

Q: I have a computer (eMachine) that has Windows XP on it. It came with Microsoft Works and I have many file that I still need to use in Works. I now need to use Microsoft Word (2003 or better) on my computer for work I need to do. If I add Microsoft Word to my computer will I be able to use both programs?

    Yes, you can have both programs installed without issue.

    If you’d prefer, you can also convert your Works documents into Word documents.
