How come all my network connections have been disabled?
by Artdirectorj on November 25, 2009Q: I have a Toshiba laptop with a dual core and 80gig HD. Simple setup, but it is a work computer. Recent events have disabled network connections, causes print failures on local printers, made program file paths inaccurate, all around crippled this machine. I have run updated malwarebytes, spybot s&d, symantec endpoint, winclam, and all in safe and standard mode. Nothing is being picked up. Any ideas or suggestions. I have not checked for a root kit yet, but I have seen rouge emails from the account that were not sent by anyone here.

If the laptop is that messed up that bad, I suggest pulling off your important data and getting the machine wiped and restored.
