How come we have to reboot our road runner highspeed Internet everyday?

Q: I have roadrunner high speed internet with 6 computers and one x-box live. Everyday we have to reboot for one thing or another. Wow can we fix this rebooting problem?

    By “one thing or another” I’m going to guess you’re talking about either your cable modem or your router.

    If you can isolate the problem to a single device, you should contact either the manufacturer or Road Runner if it is hardware they have provided.

      we have the cable line to modem to switch out from switch are 7 hardlines, one for each computer and one ex box live. no router. two computers are on at all times, when one of the other get turned on, we have to reboot to get a signal for the computer or x-box.

    You need to use a router instead of a switch.

    i installed a router and wallah, it works great. no more rebooting. thank you so much for all your help.
