DVD drive shows 0 bytes free
by matt on February 25, 2010Q: How come my DVD drive shows 0 bytes used space and 0 bytes free space and is it correct?
A: When a DVD drive does not have a DVD in it then the interface will show 0 bytes free space and 0 bytes used space. This is a normal and is not something you should worry about. If you have a DVD burner then you can put a blank DVD in and it will show you how much free space there is. If you put a regular DVD in then it should again say 0 bytes free and then show the correct number of used space.
