One Response to “Do my replies to emails take up space on my hard drive?”

This generally depends on if you’re using an E-mail Client Program (Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird) or a web based e-mail client like (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail).
Basically, if you launch a web browser and go to a website to read your e-mail all your e-mail is stored on the servers owned by your e-mail service.
Otherwise all your e-mail is probably downloaded and stored on your computer. The e-mail takes up some space on your computer, but in your case this is pretty small. Check the help file of whatever program you’re using for instructions on how to check how much space on your hard drive your e-mail is taking up.
I use Gmail as my main e-mail address since all my e-mail is stored on-line, allowing me to access it wherever I go!
