One Response to “Is it possible to password protect a printer?”

If you don’t have the printer shared, then no one will be able to print on it anyway. If you do have it shared, the only people that would be able to print to it would have to be on your local network.
Printers that are shared can by password protected the same way as shared folders in windows:
Right click on the printer select properties, and select the sharing tab. There should be security settings there where you can select users that are allowed to use the printer.
