How come my computer running Windows 2008 server has no icons or taskbar?

Q: I have installed Windows 2008 Server Enterprise Edition on my laptop.It was working properly initially. But once i started my system and logged on by using password , after that its showing desktop but there is no icons and taskbar. I mean nothing its showing , even its not showing when im clicking right button in mouse. What i do to solve this issue. ?

    Unfortunately this happens to people and there is a lot of discussion about it at Desktop Icons And Taskbar Disappear. The problem is there doesn’t seem to be a specific solution so what might work for others might not work for you.
