How come I am still getting a blank screen after testing most of my components in other computers?

Q: I have a problem with a blank screen. I have check the VGA in another PC. I have checked the RAM in another PC. I then paid for a new motherboard and CPU but I’m still getting blank screen.

The only this I can put it down to is power supply. Does it make sense that my power supply might be the problem?

  1.

When the computer turns on, does it make hard drive noises like it is booting up and loading the operating system or not?

Also, what testing have you done with the monitor itself, the video cable, and the video card?
