How can I change the font size of an existing PDF while still preserving the page layout?

Q: How can I change the font size of an existing pdf, while still preserving the page layout?

I have some pdfs/ebooks that I would like to use with an e-reader (the Irex ILiad) but unfortunately the text is too small to read. Using the zoom on the ILiand is too disrupting for each page, and I was hoping there might be an easier way to make the font a little bigger.

  1.

You can’t change the font of an existing PDF. If you’re using a PDF where you can actually input data into text boxes or fields then you can manipulate that data, but not pre-existing PDF form data. Acrobat isn’t really designed for word processing. That’s what Word, Werks, etc. are for.

Otherwise, you would have to re-create the document in whatever word processing program you use then re-create the PDF.
