Q: How do I know what motherboard to buy for my computer? I find these but do not know which one to buy.

    The most important thing is the model of the CPU you want to use, this will dictate what motherboard you buy.

    If you’re planning on just replacing the existing motherboard (because it is damaged) and not planning on buying a faster processor, I’d suggest just buying the exact same motherboard as what is in it currently. This should save you the hassle of needed to reinstall Windows from scratch.

    If you want to run a faster CPU, pick out the CPU first, then look at motherboards that are listed as compatible with this CPU, then buy RAM that is listed as compatible with the motherboard.
