How can I convert WMA files to MP3 without getting DRM blocks?

by on July 29, 2010

Q: I ripped a bunch of cd’s into my computer. Not paying attention they were all saved .wma. I now want to convert them to mp3 but I’m getting a DRM “block” no matter what converter I use.

It might feel like more work, but I suggest you go back and re rip back to mp3.

Even if you get the wma files to convert, you are going to lose some sound quality since you be running the music through an extra layer of conversion.

Thanks. I can do that for most of the albums…
