Can a weak wireless signal cause the Internet to be slow?

Q: We have WiFi at work. One IT guy said if signal is weak can cause slow access to net and other issues like firewalls, band width etc. The other IT guy said not true only band width causes slow access. which is true?

    “Slow Internet” can be caused by anything from the web server on one end to your computer on the other end, and every piece of hardware and software that runs between them.

    So yes a wifi signal if weak/degraded enough can result in a slower internet access. That said, normally the speed of your wifi connection is much much faster than your internet connection, so the wifi signal can be pretty weak before you’ll start to notice the difference.
