How come when I try to add a favorite I always get the Netscape home page?

by on August 17, 2010

Q: When I try to add a new site to my “favorite” box I get the site name with a Netscape icon in front of it. When I click on to the site I get my Netscape home page. How do I fix it?

That is your operating system, web browser would be something like:
Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape or Chrome. This is the program you launch to look at web pages.

I would also like to know the version. If you don’t know the version Click Help > About… from the browser to see the version.
