How do I know if my RAM is broke?

by on August 21, 2010

Q: I was taking my RAM out because I couldn’t get my computer to start. I was trying to put it together and I think one of the screws went into the computer holes can I still install the RAM or is it broke.

  1.

I’m not sure what you mean by “computer hole”

Do you mean the slot where the RAM connects into the motherboard?

I’d suggest removing the loose screw from whereever it fell, and as long as their isn’t any visible damage on your RAM it should be fine.
