How come I get a blue screen when I turn on my laptop?

Q: Blue screen appears when I turn my laptop on. It says page fault in non paged area. Also, says technical information ***STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFF83, 0x00000000, 0x805371A1, 0x00000000)

    PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA usually means you have faulty RAM.

    If you still have warranty coverage on the laptop, contact the manufacturer for repair.

    Since this is a laptop it probably has two sticks of RAM, and one of them is probably bad. Try turn on with just one or the other stick in, and odds are one way or the other the computer will boot correctly. If so, consider replacing/upgrading the RAM. If you’re still having trouble, or don’t want to do any of this work yourself, I’d suggest taking it to an appropriate computer repair shop or contacting the manufacturer for assistance.
