One Response to “Should I use Web of Trust or Browser Guard?”

Both of these products do slightly different things.
Web of Trust warns you against visiting websites that may be malicious. Browser Guard is focused on preventing specific types of browser security issues.
The firefox web browser, as well as the google search engine itself, will already provide warnings if you try to visit a possibly malicious website.
If you aren’t running a good anti-virus/anti-spyware program I always suggest Microsoft Security Essentials. It’s free, fast and covers just about everything you need. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
That, plus the latest version of Firefox and you should be good to go.
Looks like Web of Trust is free and has some positive reviews, so you can certainly try it out to see if it improves your browsing experience at all.
