Is it possible to play multiplayer Borderlands with one person on PS3 and one on a PC?

Q: I’m trying to play a Co-Op game of Borderlands with one player on a PS3 and me on PC in the same household. How do I manage it?

    Sorry, the game doesnt support doing that. Only major game I’m aware of that had this kind of cross platform feature was Shadowrun. That only supported play on pc and xbox 360.
