How come when I burn a DVD it seems like it works but it does not?

Q: I have Windows XP and I am trying to burn some DVDs and it stops like it is written but when I put it back in it does not work.

    1. Try some different software, such as (free) http://cdburnerxp.se
    2. Try a different brand of bank DVDs
    3. Try cleaning your DVD drive with a Laser Lens cleaner disk http://amzn.to/axYL1r
