Is an 8GB iPod Touch okay if I am just going to use it for games?

Q: I want an iPod touch, mainly to down load games and youtube video’s. Should I get an 8GB or the 32 GB, 4 th generation, does the 32 justify the extra cost.

    Looks like for the current generation the prices are:

    8GB $229
    32GB $299

    iOS games vary is size anywhere from just 1 MB to 100+MB. You can expect to give about 600MB to the operating system. Youtube videos are not kept permanently on the ipod, but streamed over wifi as needed.

    If the thought of needing to delete some games to make room for others is totally unacceptable, get the 32GB. If you’d rather have $70 in your pocket and add/remove games as needed get the 8GB.
