How come I cannot play videos that are transfered to a flash drive using Windows Media Player?

Q: How do you transfer Video to a flash drive? I have a REB-16GB flash drive. The videos transferred but when I try to play them from My Computer-?Removable Disk D? and then tried to play them in Windows Media Player a box comes up saying Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. How do I fix this? What can I do?

Try playing the video with VLC Media Player

If VLC can’t play it then your file got corrupted, try copying it again.
