Why can’t I connect to my network anymore even after changing the network cable?

Q: Having problems with my computer connecting to the network. Network cable replaced still didn’t fix the problem. Possibility that the network memory card was removed. What is the purpose of removing a network memory card from a desktop computer?

  1.

There is no such thing as a Network memory card. There is a Network Interface card, but if that was removed from your computer then there wouldn’t be anywhere to plug the network cable in.

What version of windows are you using? Does anything else work okay? Are you aware of any changes that were made that might be related to the cause of the problem?
