Why do I get a javascript error when doing searches on google?

by on January 18, 2011

Q: Hi

Whenever I search in google a box comes up that says:
An error has occurred on this page
Line 54
Char 182
Error invalid argument
Code 0
URL http://www.google.co.nz/extern_js/…

Do you want to continue running this script?

How do I get rid of this box because its really starting to irritate me?

    Picked as best answer

    – Make sure your browser is up to date
    – Try use Firefox or Chrome instead as your web browser

    To turn off the box:

    – Start Internet Explorer.
    – Select ‘Tools’ from the toolbar menu.
    – Choose ‘Internet Options.’
    – Click the ‘Advanced’ tab.
-Scroll through the list of options until you see the heading labeled ‘Browsing.’
-Put checks in the boxes labeled ‘Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer’ and ‘Disable Script Debugging (Other).’ Click ‘OK.
