What should I do when I get an error saying 38% of my hard drive space is unreadable?

Q: Deframentation & Optimization showed:
Read time of hard drive clusters less than 500 ms – Critical Error

38% of HDD Space is unreadable – Critical Error

Hard drive doesn’t respond to system comments – Critical Error

Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocated table – Critical Error

ALL ‘Failed to fix’

What do I do?

    First back up your important information (which you should be doing all the time anyway).

    What program did you run that gave you these errors?
