What should I do when I get an error saying 38% of my hard drive space is unreadable?

38% of HDD Space is unreadable – Critical Error
Hard drive doesn’t respond to system comments – Critical Error
Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocated table – Critical Error
ALL ‘Failed to fix’
What do I do?
