    Picked as best answer

The first question would be what are you backing up for files? Are you backing up your whole PC or just the essential files?

If you are backing up your whole PC i would figure out what files are most essential to you and just back those up.

If you are only backing up what you need then you would either have to slim that down some or purchase more space. It depends on how important the files are to you.

Depending on the costs for Norton backup space and how happy you are with the product, you also might want to use an alternative backup solution:

    https://www.dropbox.com/

Crashplan software can be used for free if you already have other storage available ( secondary hard drive, 2nd computer, etc).
