What is the best wireless router to support multiple gaming systems at the same time?

by on March 8, 2011

Q: What kind of wireless router do I need to buy? I will have (possibly at the same time) a Playstation 3, Xbox 360, two PSP’s and two laptops trying to use the network at the same time. And my house is 4000 square ft. (price range:$75-$200)

Currently i am using a NETGEAR – N300 Wireless-N Router with Gigabit. I have great speeds with no lag.

I have a PS3, laptop, PC, psp, 2 android devices and a ipod connected to it. And i have no real problems.

This can be picked up from most local stores like best buy or even walmart. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/NETGEAR+-+N300+Wireless-N+Router+with+Gigabit/9826302.p?id=1218179420063&skuId=9826302

You can configure this to be a secure connection with little problems. The user interface is very easy as well.

Not all of my devices are wireless N either and i have no backwards compatibility issues whatsoever.

If you have any other questions please let me know.
