-If your computer stays booted long enough try downloading either SuperAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes.
superantispyware.com
malwarebytes.com
-Installed the application and run the update.
-Then try to run a scan with either of those applications.
-Remove any threats found and reboot as requested.
-If the computer will not stay powered on long enough you may need to do a restore or run the scan in safe mode.
-If you are using Windows 7 place the install disk into the drive and boot from it.
-Select to repair the system.
-Then restore to a previous date.
-Once restore is complete go ahead an run either of the programs listed above. and make sure no threats are found at a previous time.
If you are using Win XP: When you boot up your computer hit the F8 key a few times.
-Then select to go into safe mode (with networking is ok to download A/V program)
-Then once booted into safe mode run a scan with the antivirus application you downloaded previously.

Try to get your computer into safe mode and then see if can onto the web and down AVG at http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free. I’ve had similar problems, but managed to get AVG to download and it was able to clean my computer.
