How come the icons and toolbars on my computer are 250% larger than normal?
by zazzoo on March 20, 2011Q: Working on my friends computer it’s an HP Laptop with an AMD turion x2 processor and Windows Vista operating system. It had not been used in about a year and I was prompted and downloaded almost 60 Microsoft updates. When I re-started all the ICON, Toolbars, and web sites were about 250% larger! How do I get them back to normal? I tried adjusting the zoom level and using control panel to change the resolution, etc. but to no avail.

Thanks…I right clicked on my desktop and reset the defaults for appearance which changed the resolution to 1366 x 768 (Actually the recommended setting) and everything is fine. Thanks for the help…Joe Z
