Can a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 laptop support a 1440×900 resolution monitor?
by paddydadaddy on March 23, 2011Q: I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 laptop running Windows Vista with 1280×800 screen resolution. I am looking at setting up a second monitor for Office purposes. Would I be able to run a widescreen (16×9) monitor with maximum resolution 1440×900? (19″ Daewoo model: HL920WA)
Thank you
You should be able to download the driver for the monitor and then when installed you will be able to set screen resolutions for the monitor.
Unfortunately i cannot find a link to the drivers. Do you have a disc for them? If not vista may install a generic driver and you might still be able to set to the desired resolution.

You shouldn’t need any special drivers for the monitor, and it should work just fine for you!
