How do I get the search dog back in Windows XP?

Q: On the Search icon for Windows XP the little dog who did the search has disappeared. Can I locate or restore the dog image?

    Click Start, click Search, and then click Change preferences.

    Click “With an animated screen character” to add the dog back.
