3 Responses to “Are the Intel g33 and g31 express chipsets pci or pci-x?”
Motherboards with either of these chipsets will almost always have an available PCI Express slot to support the latest video cards.
Numbers of available slots will vary from board to board so be sure to check the detailed specifications for the motherboard you’re interested in to make sure everything you want is available.

According to the information on Intel’s website they are PCI Express. The G31 being PCI Express 1.1 and the G33 has PCI Express x16.
