What does it mean when I get an error verifying DMI Pool Data?

Q: I have a Emachines el 1200 with windows XP i was restarting it last night and it would not reboot but will not get past Verifying DMI Pool Data………. Update Success I’ve even went as far as ran a recovery but still the same tried to boot it with NVIDIA Boot Agent it came up with PXE-E61: Meadia test failure, check cable HELP!?

    This looks like your computer isn’t detecting your harddrive.

    See this page for some suggestions, if you haven’t been messing around in your CMOS/BIOS at all changing boot order settings than you might have a bad hardrive. So if the options suggested here at the link below don’t work I’d suggest taking the computer to a local service shop:
