Do they make dialup modems for newer computers?

by on June 18, 2011

Q: I plan to buy a new computer soon. Currently, (please don’t laugh), I have a dial-up system (Net Zero) for my old computer. I’ve been told that most of the new computer don’t have a modem but someone told me that there is a gadget I can buy that can be inserted in the USB port on a new computer that will allow me to connect to my phone line. Is this correct? If so, what is the name of that gadget?
