Can I put a laptop from and old Gateway into my Toshiba?

Q: i pulled hard drive from ex gateway because of xrated pics of me. can i put it in my toshiba without messing up my laptop?

    The best way to hook the drive up would be with a Sata/IDE to USB converter. Boot up your laptop and then hook up the drive. The drive will show up as an attached drive and you can access all files on it.
